Bali’s fabled reefs and booming beach breaks are in season between April and October when swell swinging up from the Roaring 40s and Howling 50s march south-west across the Indian Ocean and the trade winds blow from the south-east. Even during the off season when the trade winds switch to west there are still classic waves to be had on the eastern Side of the island. Sea and air temperatures remain steady at around 28-30C year round.
Bali boasts a massive array of breaks to suit everyone’s ability. Most initially try their around the main hotel centres of Kuta/Legian. Famous breaks like Uluwatu always have a discerning crowd but for the surfer prepared to travel, adventure and uncrowded waves await along both coasts.
We offer trips locally to Serangan, Nusa Dua or Sanur as well as half day and full day trips to Nusa Lembongan and Lombok. Rhino will get you there in no time with a minimal amount of fuss. Our crew will wait on board and prepare a well earned meal whilst you hit the waves minus the long paddle out from the beach. Grab a few friends, avoid the traffic and crowds and let us take you straight out to the line ups.
